Ministry says Russian GDP growth slows down to 1.6% in January
MOSCOW, Feb 20 (PRIME) -- Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth slowed down to 1.6% on the year in January from 2.3% in December 2019, the Economic Development Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
The processing industry and retail contributed most to GDP growth.
The ministry forecasts that the country’s economy will increase by 1.9% in 2020.
